Persistent Links - EBSCO

How To create persistent links in any EBSCO database

By using the proper syntax, you can create links to EBSCO citations or HTML Full Text. If a PDF image is available, links to the image will be available on the citation.

  1. Connect to an EBSCO database through the library website (e.g., Academic Search Elite)
  2. Find an article citation and copy its Persistent Link
  3. Use the to make the Persistent Link accessible to all º£½ÇÆƽâ°æ users:
    • Example: https://wiulibraries.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http://search.epnet.com/login.aspx?direct=true&AuthType=cookie,ip,url,uid&db=afh&an=J0E414235086304
  4. Test! Copy/paste the new link into your browser address bar to make sure it works (remove any spaces in the URL).
