Medical Services Overview
Beu Health Center is a full-service medical clinic offering quality outpatient health care to registered º£½ÇÆƽâ°æ students. The health center is staffed by a broad range of healthcare professionals who are specially trained in college health. All clinical staff are licensed or registered in the state of Illinois. Comprehensive, preventive, and primary care services are available by appointment. Board-certified MDs and certified nurse practitioners are available to provide a program of continuous, quality medical care.

- Diagnosis and treatment of acute illness/ injury
- Diagnosis and treatment of acute illness/ injuryDiagnosis of chronic illness with appropriate referral if necessary
- Assistance of management of chronic illness
- Preventive care: blood pressure checks, diabetes screening, cholesterol screening, and more
- Immunizations/ allergy injections/ TB testing
- General physicals- athletic, nursing program, classes, employment, ROTC
- Minor surgical procedures: stitches and removal, mole removal, toenail removal, wart treatments, lesion destruction
- Diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections
- Men’s and women’s health needs
- Mental health and psychiatric services

Sexual Health Services
Beu Health Center offers men and women physical exams and laboratory testing tailored to each student's specific needs.
Our specialized services include:
- Prescription Contraceptives
- Diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases
- Education on sexual risk and emergency contraception
- Well-person care and preventative education
- Annual exams
- Self-exam techniques
- Diet and lifestyle education
There is no single test for screening STIs; however, our providers can treat each individual by assessing their risk factors and testing for relevant disorders as needed.
Confidential pre-test and post-test HIV Counseling and testing are also available upon request. Your test result will be documented in your medical record and held in strictest confidence. Information will not be released to anyone without your written permission.
