New Student Orientation is a way to learn and get connected prior to school starting. The Student Orientation program allows family members to learn about the campus, its academic programs, costs, financial aid, residence hall life, and student support services.

Advisor RegistrationÌý
New incoming transfer students are required to meet with their academic advisor prior to registering. The academic advisor will assist students with navigating their degree plan and course selection. Contact informationÌýfor the assigned academic advisor is available in the students STARS account and on the advisor directory.Ìý
English & Math Requirements
Students who have not completed the required English composition course and/or an approved math class at their previous institutions may be expected to complete additional placement testing. After students receiveÌýtheir evaluation and registration instructions,Ìýthey may contact your academic advisor to schedule your advising appointment.
Advisor Registration Dates
- Your registration date will be listed in your STARS account. You may set an appointment with your advisor for a date on or after your registration date and upon submission of official transcript(s) from any instiution you have attended.Ìý
Other Registration Considerations
Transfer students who plan to attend summer school at º£½ÇÆƽâ°æ prior to attending classes in the fall may register for both summer and fall during their advising appointment. They may also register at the beginning of summer school in early June.
